trying to conceiveFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 30 Jun 1997 18:16:28 -0500 (CDT)
I am concerned about the time it is taking to conceive and would appreciate any info or advice...I am 26 years old and was on the pill for 2 years...quit taking it Aug. 96. I always have perfectly regular 27 day cycles. I have been charting for 7 months and seem to ovulate regularly on Day 13. My cervical mucous is 'iffy' at best...hardly any egg white but several days of creamy. We have been trying to conceive since Oct '96 and have timed it perfectly almost every time. My one concern is that I was previously married and there was a 2 yr time period when we had unprotected sex and never conceived. I am married to someone else now so will my prior experience be a factor in determining infertility or will they only consider my current partner? I have an appt w/my ob/gyn in a couple of weeks and would like to know if I should start being aggrressive or if we should allow more time. There is no family history of any fertility problems at all. Thanks very much, Amy
