In general it seems that the patch has the same effects as the pill but may take higher doses to achieve as great effects. Most people, however, consider the 0.05 mg patch an effective replacement dose. As with most medications, the lowest possible effective dose is what is recommended. You should probably be getting your lipids checked every three to five years, as well.
Do you see any reason not to augment my 0.05 mg patch
