unrealistic dr. expectations ? A year ago I clearly made a "pre-conceiving" visit to make sure all was ok, let her know we were now trying, etc. Ten months later I was back in with irregular cycles. She drew a thyroid test and a pregnancy test. I had to call to get the results one week later (which were negative) and then make another appointment two months later because things were still irregular. This time, she drew prolactin, FSH levels, etc. She had to ask again "now are you off the pill because you are trying to conceive ?" It is now one week later, I have heard nothing from the Dr.'s office re: the lab results, a possible plan of action, referral or anything. The last thing I want to be is a Dr. S/hopper, but I feel like it is a minimal expectation to be called promptly with results (within three to four days) and followed up on complaints. Am I expecting too much too soon ? I don't feel like I should have to be on the aggressor side... always seeking results, etc., but will if I need to.
