Thank you for all of the information that has been posted to the site about Dr. Marques. I hope that in the future we can all learn more about the program he was working in (Drs. without borders.) It sounds like a wonderful program that obviously meant a lot.

Because I, like everyone else, is sure he is in a better place, my heart breaks the most for his family, friends, colleagues and the patients who will never benefit from his quality care.

I hope that his family will be able to access some of the condolences posted by his colleagues. I'm sure they will bring some comfort.

My thoughts also go out to the Doctors and all medical professionals who post to this site. Dedicating your life to saving and helping others only to lose a colleague in this manner must be difficult at best.
