Marshall-Marchetti or Burch procedures are, above all, designed to correct stress incontinence. The modified Stanton procedure can help a little bit but no more. If the main problem is the prolapsus the treatment would be made through vaginal way. It is the only way to reduce the excess of vaginal tissue by taking it away.
