Intrauterine insemination is a way around this problem. Clomid can also impair the endometrium (uterine lining), which may interfere with successful implantaion. this can be monitored by ultrasound and looking at endometrial thickness and the appearance of a tri-laminar pattern ("triple line sign"). My recent review of the literature (due to my own fertility problems), has shown mixed opinions regarding the treatment of this; some REs advocate supplemental estrogen, while others state it doesn't improve pregnancy rates. These REs suggest the use of Pergonal (or Fertinex ) for ovulation induction instead. One again, I appeal to Dr. Lovely to give us her expert advice.
