Dr.Lovely,

What would be considered an intolerant or contraindication to estrogen. As I'm sure everyone, by now is aware, I had severe endo and decided on the hyst. in hopes of getting my life back. I was limited on many of the medical treatments, due to complications in my medical history. I developed phlebitis while on birth control pills, possible allergic reaction to depo-provera, and a very real fear of injections to even contemplate lupron. I am not on estrogen as yet. I'm 43, and though I'm recovering nicely, I am dealing with surgical menopause at present. I just read a post from a girl who has had her endo return, two years she had a hysterectomy/bso. I had planned to wait 3-6 months before beginning estrogen, and originally thought it would be stupid, to risk heart disease or osteo by never taking it. Now I'm not so sure. I am soooooo scared. I've already been through so much. I never thought a benign disease could be so destructive. What would you do if you were in my place? Thanks for your time.
