A Question For A British Dr.From: Anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 02 Jun 1997 23:47:43 -0700
I am currently living in Japan using the NSAID, Voltaren (Diclofenac Sodium) for severe dysmenorrhoea. I want to study medicine from next year but don't know where to do it. I am afraid to return to Britain in case I cannot get this drug. It means the difference between functioning normally for 2 days and being completely incapacitated. I take it in suppository form due to vomiting with my period and being unable to eat. Can I get it in Britain and if not is there an alternative? Ponstal has no effect at all and Idocin which used to work, helps a little but I have still fainted while using it. My G.P. refused to give me anything when I lived in Britain. I have since been diagnosed with adenomyosis. Thank you in advance. Sharon
