Previous message: Jennifer: "Bleeding after a pap" I was on the depopreva shot for about 9 months and noticed that my sex drive dropped dramatically. Of course, this was a problem with my husband (and me too)!!! We decided together that though the option of a shot every three months was a wonderful concept, the lack of sex drive was just not acceptable. My question ... Is the lack of sex drive a side effect of the depo or could it possibly be something else? I have been on birth control pills now for 4 months and everything is still the same but I've read that it can take months for my body to get back to normal after depo.
