I have had a small amount of leakage of colostrum for the past month, and experienced the same at 30 weeks gestation with my first pregnancy. I had a caesarean with my first child, my milk came in immediately, and I breastfed my daughter within 30 minutes of her birth and for the next 6 months (when I put her on formula after returning to work) without any problems at all. Even though this was not your question, I want to stress in reply to one of the responses you received, that having a caesarean does not cause one to have problems with milk supply or breast feeding. I would ask you OB about his one. I never really leaked much at all with my first pregnancy, but I new the milk was there being produced. Your OB or even a lactation consultant would be able to clear up any concerns you have. K. Tice
