Weird Question- Not Sure If RelativeFrom: Anne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 2 May 1997 13:48:22 -0500 (CDT)
Dear Docs, I'm not really sure if this is relevent to our forum or not but here goes... Last year before I had my two lap surgeries I was experiencing abdominal pain that at times was very acute. I would wake up numerous times in the middle of the with pains and general achiness in my lower abdomen and lower back. Several times towards the end I was having horrible nightmares about disembowelment and the like. They would wake me up and I would then realize that my abdomen was hurting again. My doc then scheduled the laps and got rid of adhesions and infections around my c-section site. The weird part??? The last month and a half I have been experiencing the same general type of pain I had before my surgeries; every day and especially at night. The last week I have been having the nightmares about horrible things happening to my guts. Is it possible the adhesions have grown back and my subconscious knows it? I know this is weird but I haven't had these nightmares since I had the pains last summer. Every thing else is fairly normal; My periods are a little long but other than that I feel I am in good health. Ever hear of this before? Or am I just a wee bit luny? Thanks Anne Nash
