Tam Yes, it certainly is possible to become pregnant after a tuboplasty. In general, I *think* the success rate is quoted at about 50% (Calling Dr. Laurie Lovely, reproductive endocrinology fellow). I recall one particular case from when I was a resident -- a woman wiht a history of horrible pregnancies (preterm labor, high blood pressure), and a drug user to boot, had a tubal ligation. The next year, she convinced one of my fellow residents to do a tubal reanastamosis (put the tubes back together). She became pregnant, developed absolutely awful blood pressure problems, gestational diabetes and then preterm labor -- all on my shift as chief of obstetrics. All of us that had to take care of her were cursing the guy who put her tubes back together. She ended up delivering a healthy baby and had her tubes tied again during her c-section. I wish you the best of luck in your quest for pregnancy. You should talk to your doctor about whether IVF of tubal surgery would give you the best chances of success.
