Hip looseness after hysterectomyFrom: Susan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 24 Apr 1997 14:12:44 -0500 (CDT)
I am 10 weeks post-op following a total abdominal hysterectomy. I am still walking slower than usual because my hips are 'loose' or wobbly. If I have to bend to pick up something off the floor, I really strain my hips. I asked my doctor and he said he never heard of it before. I asked if it might have to do with ligaments being cut, and he denied that could have anything to do with it. Why do my hips feel so funny? Should I walk more or rest more? Does this go away over time? Thanks.
