I will be having a TAH with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy next month, due to stage IV endometriosis, that I can no longer deal with. I have a history of fibrocystic breasts, with a biopsy that showed, ductal hyperplasia. If my RE is confident he was able to remove all of the endo implants, he wants to start me on ERT. I am quite concerned. I do not want the endo to return, but I also don't like the prospects of dealing with surgical menopause. I'm really confused. Also would my breast history preclude ERT?
