For the past few years I have noticed slight bleeding (sometimes darker colored, sometimes pink) a few days before my period really begins. I have been fairly regular also. I am wondering, when do I count the 1st day of my cycle? When the slightest amount of bleeding occurs or when the period really starts? I was hoping to know so that I could try natural family planning, as well as know how long my cycles really are.
