The following treatment of the OBGYN.net physicians who GENEROUSLY AND FREELY volenteer their time to answer our questions is IMHO totally uncalled for!

IF YOU ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN THE OPINION OF A PHYSICIAN WHO HAD THE BENEFIT OF A PHYSICAL EXAM THEN WHY NOT CALL THE PHYSICIAN WHO PERFORMED THR SURGERY? WHY POST TO A FORUM ON THE INTERNET?

She told me they >did a pap, then did a biopsy and it WAS cancer. She had not had a pap

>surgery. I didn't probe her for specifics on exactly what they did in

DR. KRELL I PRESUME MADE THIS ASSUMPTION BASED ON THE FACT THAT IF IT WAS CANCER IT WOULD HAVE REQUIRED A FAR MORE AGRESSIVE FOLLOW UP THERAPY THAN A 6 MONTH PAP.

>appreciate your response, especially since you're the only one to
>respond, but I do not appreciate you calling us a liar when she had the

DR. KRELL DID NOT CALL YOU OR YOUR FRIEND A LIAR. HIS WORDS WERE:

"but was likely NOT CANCER. The treatment for cervical CANCER is RADICAL surgery or radiation."

HE WAS ATTEMPTING TO ALAY YOUR FEARS. SINCE YOU HAVE THE PATH REPORT AND ARE SURE OF YOUR DIAGNOSIS WHY DON'T YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO VISIT WITH THE SURGEON TO GET YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED.

THE WAY YOU HAVE DEMONSTRATED YOUR APPRECIATION FOR THE DOCTOR'S RESPONSE IS HARDLY LIKELY TO ENCOURAGE MORE DOCTORS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS VALUABLE RESOURCE.
