A "stage 3 PAP" is one of the older methods for classifying a PAP smear. The term is not in much use today. It means that there are cells present that may be precancerous. It seems as if the freezing treatment did not work! But wait! How long after the freezing did you get another PAP? If it was less than 4 months, the PAP smear may have been misread. If 4 months or more have gone by, then there's a strong possibility that precancerous cells are back. Go to a gynecologist experienced in colposcopy. You will need to repeat the colposcopy and have a different type of treatment.
