Take Clomiphene after being pregnantFrom: Zhongshuang (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 14 Mar 1997 13:57:56 -0600 (CST)
My wife took Clomiphene (50mg/day for 5 days) starting from the 10th day into pregnancy. Our OB doctor should have done a pregnancy test before prescribing the medicine. My wife is 29 years old and 11 1/2 weeks into her first pregnancy. We are worried very much about the possible defects the medicine might cause to the baby, though that was the first time my wife took Clomiphene. Our questions are: * What are the possible birth defects the medicine might cause? * What preventive test/treatment should my wife take? Thanks for any input!!
