GYNECOLOGIC: Fallopian Tube / Pain after EctopicFrom: Melkro (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 26 Jul 2009 16:44:58 -0500 (CDT)
Last year, I had an ectopic pregnancy in my left fallopian tube. This was managed with 2 shots of methotrexate. Since then, I have had chronic low grade pain on my left side (lower left pelvic area) which I have told my doctor about. I have a partial hydro and/or scar tissue and adhesions in that left tube. I have asked my doctor about surgery for the hydro and he believes it would be "too risky" and that my tube is partially open so fluid is not necessarily leaking into my uterus. However, I am concerned about the pain and we are still trying to conceive. Could the pain be from my damaged tube? Should a partial Hydro be removed if I am still trying to conceive? What is risky about surgery to remove the fallopian tube? Thank You so much...
