Hello - I am new to this forum so I hope I am doing it correctly. I was wondering if I could get some advice before I can get into see my obgyn. I am 22, never been pregnant and have had painful periods my whole life, so bad that they sometimes cause me to pass out. No doctor has ever been able to explain this. I am not on birthcontrol and have been having protected intercourse for several years with one partner. I have recently discovered my period to be just under two weeks late, and I have been experiencing sharp pain in the area thats of my right ovary after intercourse. I can sometimes also feel crapming and pain in this area and only on this side of my abdomen. For the last two months I have had dark brown spotting for approximately 7 days after my period ends. Being 2 weeks late (ish) I have taken an EPT and its shown negative. I was wondering what may be going on, and if I should get myself to get a blood test for pregnancy. I have no symptoms of pregnancy other then the late period and I seem to be in fine health.
