ONCOLOGY: fluid in uterusFrom: meg (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 15 Jun 2009 11:32:52 -0500 (CDT)
I am 31 years old and had a fibroid removed robitically on Jan. 23, 2009. When I went in for my follow up appointment, my doctor found fluid in my uterus. I have had excessive clear discharge - some times yellow or bloody. I experienced this before and after the surgery. Actually - this started when I stopped taking the pill in Sept. 2008. I had two more ultrasounds in the beginning of May and the beginning of June. Both still show fluid in my uterus - although she said there was half as much as there was in Feb (no change from May to June). My hormones were checked on day 2 of my cycle and came back normal. My doctor is now checking for cancer. I've had THREE endometrial biopsies and all have come back normal. Now, she wants to do a cervial biopsy? What is the liklihood that I have cancer? Are there any other explanations for the fluid in my uterus?
