Michelle, Before a treatment there needs to be a diagnosis.There are many possibilities. One is that you are allergic to the medication you were given.Another is that you may have a different diagnosis for your symptoms.It may be necessary to have additional tests such as a vulvar biopsy.You could have a condition called vulvodynia or a vaginal infection.Please get a second opinion.You would need to be off all vaginal medications for at least three days before being tested.
