GENERAL: About Swine FluFrom: Maggie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 18 May 2009 10:45:50 -0500 (CDT)
Ok I know this has nothing to do with women's health but I thought why not go ahead and post it any way in hopes that whoever would respond to this would not only help me but others as well. I was wondering if I really need to worry since lately I haven't been feeling all that great. I've been having headaches but they come and go. I'm dizzy plus I've had some nasal congestion although I took some medicine and it has gotten better. I've been sneezing quite a bit I have NO fever, NO diarrhea, No vomitting. I had some nausea once or twice but no longer have it. My ears hurt plus I cough and only have a sore throat when I cough. I am quite exhausted although I don't know if I should call it fatigued. Today I'm so tired that all I want to do is stay in bed and sleep. I'm alittle concerned cause after reading an article on Swine flu I see I might have some of the symptoms of it. My mom thinks I should go to the doctor and get checked for it just for in case. Honestly I don't think I have it cause even though I might have some of the symptoms some of them improve like my nasal congestion plus today I'm not coughing as much as I was yesterday plus my throat isn't hurting me as much as it was yesterday. I am still quite tired and dizzy. One of my friends told me that maybe it's just because I'm not getting enough rest or cause of my poor diet. I've been drinking quite a bit of caffeine lately plus my stress level is very high with my life's problems. My daughte has been sick with some nasal congestion and has been sneezing around me so maybe I just got a simply cold from her, but anyway what do you think. Should I just see my symptoms as nothing really to worry about or do you think I should get tested for possible swine flu?? Thank You In Advance for your response..
