Now my doctor ordered an ultrasound and they found fluid in my pelvis. It could be related.. Any update on your symptoms? I noticed your post is from 2007, I wish I found it earlier. Thank you. I am 38 years old. I have an 11 year old daughter. The first ultrasound was taken on March 23rd one week and one day after I finished my period. The second ultrasound was taken on April 20th also one week and one day after my period. Both ultrasounds showed fluid pockets in the cul-de-sac area with no change. My doctor described the fluid to be septated (as he explained it means that they are separated from each other). He told me that the radiologist was concerned that there should be no reason for this fluid to be present and so they are now sending me for an MRI. Hope this little extra information is helpful to you. Thank you again. Judit
