Hi, Return of menstruation after delivary vary from person to person and race to race.Nomally it may start in six month or may be earlier.Those who are totally breast feeding it may start late but it varies person to person.Breast feeding help in involution of uterus, uterus to come back to original size. Ladies has conveived this perion of amenrrhoea-called lactation amenorrhoea,so if you donot want pregnancy go for IUCD. Oral conraceptive may affect -decrease milk supply.
