CONTRACEPTION: questions about levora..

I have a few questions concerning the birthcontrol pill, levora, that I recently had perscribed to me. I have yet to start on it, becuase the doctor that I spoke with at planned parenthood told me I have the option of starting right away ('quickstart'?)or waiting till the sunday after my period, which she said the reason to do that was so I would never have my period on the weekend. but is there any other reason why I should do that instead of the 'quickstart'? Are there any downsides to when (or on what day) I start on the pill? Is there a certain day that is best to start on it? I am concerned becuase I was interested in starting right away, but when I was reading the information about levora that was given to me, it said nothing about a quick start. It gave me two options- to start the first day of my period, or the sunday after. no quickstart was mentioned. so am I alright to start whenever I so choose? And a few more questions: Does it cause any weight gain? And if so, how much? Are there anyside effects that occur if I decide to stop using the pill, or if I decide to switch? How long should I wait after taking it to have sex? And does the length of time vary according to the day in my cycle that I begin to take levora?

As you can tell, I am lost. Please help me! :(
