Hello Nicole, You are not alone. I feel that it is due to the lack of lubrication (dryness) that causes this or it could be a harmone inbalance or even both. I have somewhat the same symtoms, only that I don't bleed. I am 55 and am having pain during sexual intercouse on the upper inner front. It feels like I'm being cut or split, but only feel this pain during the act. I am going to find out what's going on as well and resolve this problem. Good luck.
