One thing I should mention is that as of today, I am still having 'breakthrough bleeding'. I started contraceptive pills (yaz) on Feb. 23rd and completed 2 full weeks. I had to stop taking them as the side effects were horrible; I Technically my period should have ended last weekend, but I'm still having light bleeding; Do you suspect that the bleeding may be withdrawl from the pills or could it be related to something else, due to the black sticky discharge I was having several weeks ago. This has all been going on since Feb. 22nd...went from black sticky discharge, to a period, to breakthrough bleeding. Also, what tests should they be running on me and at what time during my cycles should they be doing them? They've already run a TSH test on me and seem to think that was/is sufficient. >--
