During HSG a radio opaque dye-contrast is injected to visualise the uterus and the tubes. Normally we drain out all that contrast at the end of procedure. If the contrast is not drained out or has naturally came our you may get this crmping pain,but you can take anti spasmodic tablets for that.Bleeding is dut to instrumentation and catching the lip of cervix with tenaculum like insrument but it should stop in few days. ideally a sutable antibiotics for 5 days are given to prevent any infection-after all it is a minor sugical procedure. Nausea is due to irritation of utrus and it should stop with tratment
