VAGINALINFECTIONS: Bacterial VaginosisFrom: Marie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 2 Mar 2009 14:33:35 -0600 (CST)
I have been suffering from bacterial vaginosis on and off for the past 4 years. It started when I used lubrication one time during intercourse. There have been times when I have gone months to a year without having any breakouts of it. Although, recently it is almost constant. It seems that every time I have intercourse or anytime anything enters my vagina, the vaginosis comes back the next day. I have seen my doctor many times about this. He has told me ways to prevent it. I have tried everything from using comdoms, taking acidophilus suppliments, showering rather than taking baths.....everything. I dont know what else to do. I cant stop being sexually active with my boyfriend, I cant keep taking these dreadful antibiotics. I can't keep living like this.
