GYNECOLOGIC: LAPAROSCOPY FOR OVARIAN REMOVAL

My doctor is recomending laparoscopy for ovarian removal. I am 58 yeaar-old, and in menopouse; therefore no cooncerned about having more kids. I would like to find out if there is any support group or somebody I can speak to who had this procedure. I am searching the net and getting information about the procedure. I also want to know if somebody knows of the best hospital or a good women center here in New York City. I just want to get independent information before I get back to my own doctor. Any feedback would be very much appreciate it. Thanks. Nelly
