Dr. Futterweit: The symptoms are likely to be a result of intermittent hypoglycemia. Obesity, PCOS are endocrine disorders that are often associated with it. An oral glucose tolerance test may be useful, using glucose and insulin levels at zero and 2 hours. Best wishes, Dr. Futterweit
