A polyp is not dangerous, and if possible should be removed as it can cause bleeding and anxiety. It can either be coming from the cervix, or be within the uterus. It is benign and usually removed very easily. Absolutely nothing serious. The bleeding is concerning, of course, but once it is determined to be a polyp, then it can be safely removed.
