I'm not sure what is going on here. A unilateral limb abnormality can
be caused by a number of different things but remains a rarity. I
think that you must be prepared for anything at birth including
multiple other abnormalities. This is not an easy situation but I
think that preparing for the worst here is a wise choice. If the US
studies were wrong and there are no problems then you are blessed. US
is by no means perfect and can easily be fooled so prepare and pray
for the baby.
