UROGYNECOLOGY: urge incontinenceFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netSat, 31 Jan 2009 18:12:34 -0600 (CST)
Hello. I have had a tendancy to urge incontinence for about 10 years now, but usually manage to keep it under control - the critical time usually being just as I actually prepare to wee! However, over the last two weeks, I have had significant leaks. As a result of this, I went out and bought a Neurotrac Pelivtone. I have used this for the last three successive nights, and have found myself getting notably worse!! I wouldn't have expected an improvement within 3 uses, anyway, and am not totally convinced that my pelvic floor muscles are insufficiently strong to function normally in any event. I am 53 years old and never been pregnant - normally fit and active although I have donned 2 stone over the last 3 years. Should I stop further treatment? Thanks.
