BREASTHEALTH: Bleeding from areolaFrom: Tina (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 Jan 2009 07:00:09 -0600 (CST)
I am a 30 year old female and in Sept. I had my first mammogram because of a change in breast size/shape. The screening said global asymmetry in left upper outer quadrant (BI-RADS 3) Last night while getting ready for bed I bent over and I started bleeding from one of the bumps on the areola on my left breast. I have no cut or injury or anything like that, and when you wipe the blood away everything looks normal. Can this be related to my Mammogram results and is a problem or is this in the scope of normal? This morning I have a bit of general burning pain in that breast, but nothing specific to that spot.
-- Thanks- Tina
