Previous message: JoAnn NP: "Re: CONTRACEPTION: BCP question" In Oct. of last year I had a ultrasound done because of abnormal bleeding - I had an endo. ablation done 2 years ago, painful cramps, and GI problems. It showed thickening of the endometrium, cysts and fibroids. On Dec 08 I had an endometrial biopsy done. There was not enough sample obtained, however there were some cells that showed atypical metaplasia. A week ago I had a D&C/hysterscopy, but I was told I needed to wait until my appt. with the gyn in two 1/2 weeks to go over the pathology results. In the mean time I am very scared and wondering the results, and this whole process - would take so long. I have been advised to go to another gyn.
