It involves the therapist having you identify the muscles to work in order to strengthen them and possibly improve the prolapse. It will involve touching the muscles, often via a pelvic exam. It is the same idea as for vaginismus, but instead of teaching you to relax the muscles, this will teach you to strengthen them...Dr. von Almen
