PREGNANCY: Pregnant after 11-yr-old tubal ligation?

I am almost 40 years old. I had my tubes tied 11 years ago after our second child was born (next day). My last period was 12/15/08 (memory may be off a day or two). I remember because I recall thinking I was glad to get it out of the way before Christmas break. The last 2 times I had sex were 12/30/08 and 1/1/09. Since 1/14/09, it feels like my hormones are supercharged, and my genital area is easily stimulated (in a good way!). I feel better in general than I have in a long time, not tired or irritable like I might expect with PMS or menopause: in fact, I have laughed harder at more things than I have in years, like I can't help laughing and find everything funny. I have not had a period like usual, but have had some bleeding when I wipe, light pink and some brown. It doesn't "seem" like menstrual blood at all, and I don't have the usual "scent" that accompanies my period. My breasts are sore, maybe a little bigger, and I have had heartburn at times like I did with my second pregnancy. I have taken 2 EPT's (one on 1/20 and one on 1/22, today) and both were negative. My sore breasts are not a typical PMS symptom for me, nor have I had the usual abdominal heaviness, back/abdominal cramps, or general crabbiness that tend to go with my PMS. Is it possible that I could be pregnant despite the tubal ligation and 2 negative tests? Could this be the beginnings of menopause? If something doesn't happen soon, I will be making a doctor's appointment, but I would like some input beforehand if possible. Thanks!!
