GYNECOLOGIC: post menopausal post hysterectomy bleedingFrom: laura (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 22 Jan 2009 10:07:04 -0600 (CST)
Im a 41 year old, 4 children, who 5 years ago was diagnosed with cervical cancer, i had to have a radical hysterectomy, because of my age maintained one ovary. 3 years ago had my remaining ovary removed due to a benign tumour and a surgical hernia repaired. Over the last year I have had a couple of episodes of vaginal bleeding, normally starts off with back pain and a feeling of heaviness and then a plug of mucous, similar to a show, followed by bleeding. I am undergoing investigations for this, but would like to know if anyone else has had anything similar happen to them? Regards, Laura
