Re: BICORNUATE: bicornuate uterus with 2 cervixesFrom: Pat Sonnenstuhl, CNM (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 21 Jan 2009 21:22:32 -0600 (CST)
I have had clients with two cevixes and/or two uterus/or bicornuate uterus. It would be helpful for your provider to show you some pictures, as it is hard to explain. My experience has been that women do conceive, and do give birth. The cervix sort of falls back into itself. Bu, you really need to discuss this in more detail with the care provider that diagnosed the unusual situation. I certainly would continue to work on conceiving and not let this finding stop you. Also, I do not believe surgery is done for these conditions, but again that is something to discuss with your caregiver.
