This question is about my sister. She has an 18mo old son and she is 22yrs old. Prior to being pregnant she had surgery to remove a cyst and they removed some endo. She conceived by accident and had a pretty easy pregnancy, except towards the end had very mild pre-eclampsia. she was induced at first with cytotec sp?? After giving birth she bled quit alot in the delivery room and had to get quit a bit of stitches and she for some unknown reason stayed 5 days in the hospital before being discharged. well fast forward 18mos later- she went for a gyn exam today and during the exam he thought things felt different. Then he did an ultrasound and concluded that she now has a T-shaped uterus and is completely thrown by it. How does someone who once had a normal uterus all of sudden have a t-shaped uterus? Is this even possible? My other sister who is 21 Had a stillbirth 6 mos ago and a mass a month later that they diagnosed as an AVM of the uterus, but just before her surgery it disappeared. They had doctors at the university of san francisco looking at her MRI's and everything. Now for me I'm 26 and trying to get pregnant for 9 mos with constant spotting for the last 2mos. Both my sisters have a lot of cyst problems, but neither one of would fit into the description of PCO's. Do you think all these problems are related? And mostly I want information on how this T-shape uterus can really happen.
