Goldfarb : "Re: MENORRHAGIA: Irregular Cycle after D&C" I had a D&C for an incomplete miscarriage (I was 8 weeks along) on 10/17/08. 8 weeks post D&C, no period, so I went in for an ultrasound. I was told that my uterus and ovaries looked okay, and to wait until 12 weeks post D&C until they would medically step in. However, when I got home that afternoon, I had started my period. It was extremely heavy. The very next day, however, my period was absent. Some brown spotting for 3 days, mainly when I wipe after urinating. Is this normal? Are there any specific tests that I should be asking my MD for?
