Janelle It is normal to get bloating from medroxyprogesterone also called Provera. It is likely that this is the weight gain cause since your blood tests are normal. It should go away when you are finished with the medroxyprogesterone (Provera). An abnormal thyroid test would be another cause. If you are of normal weight you can miss periods because of normal athletic activity such as participating on a track team.Being very underweight can also cause missed periods. JoAnn NP
