Re: GYNECOLOGIC: Is this possibly an ovarian cyst rupturing? From: Professor Galal Lotfi (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 22 Nov 2008 03:32:38 -0600 (CST)
It is not uncommon to have ovarian cysts after hysterectomy, good percentage of these cysts are functionl, meaning that it has no side effects and has self limited life span. Out of having nothing to do towards these cysts that can resolve by itself, sometimes we presciribe a sotr of pills like the pills you already took. This is the best scenarion. However, sometimes these cysts give some complications irrespective of its size or nature, These complications are: Torsion, the cyst twist on itself or on the ovary. Rupture of the cyst, Infection of the cyst these complications could give a similar picture of what you have. I believe you need clinical examination and ultrasound At Wed, 19 Nov 2008, Need Help wrote: > >I had a hysterectomy a year ago but still have both ovaries and tubes.
