PREGNANCY: Chemical Pregnancy?From: Sammie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 26 Oct 2008 11:00:21 -0500 (CDT)
I have an almost three-year-old boy. I had a miscarriage at 9wks in August. I waited a full cycle to try again, I recently took a pregnancy test that came back faintly positive. A few days later it turned negative. A few days after that, I started bleeding what I thought was my peroid a few days late, thinking maybe I read the positive test wrong. The bleeding has stopped in three days; my usual periods are seven. I called my OB and she didn't seem concerned and said it was probably a Chemical Pregnancy. But I am confused because the bleeding was lighter and shorter than usual, when I've red you usually bleed a bit heavier. I am also starting to get concerned that there might be something wrong with me. I also had a yeast infection right before I took the positive pregnancy test (that I didn't treat chemically) and am afriad the infection caused the miscarriage? I need some advice or reassurance! Thanks to any help you can give.
