My boyfriend and I use spermicidal condoms in addition to Nuvaring, but I'm not sure how boric acid effects condoms either. Also, is it safe for my boyfriend to have sex with me while I am taking the boric acid? I realize that it is not ADVISABLE to have sex during a yeast infection, but I am just wondering if it is SAFE.
