>From personal experience, I highly recommend women consider/have a bone
density test. Many health fairs and womens groups offer the test for free or for about $10.00. With this test you can be made aware of osteopenia and start adding more calcium to you diet and exercise BEFORE it become osteoporosis. Menopause is another time in life where this test is greatly needed! Many health insurance companies/doctors don't push the testing early in life 30-40-50 age group, but it is VERY helpful. The test is painless and lasts for only a few seconds/a few minutes.

While you are doing it take your Hubby/mate along (many men I know are going with their better half (wife/friend), getting the test done, and finding they have osteopenia or osteoporosis)!! -- Hope Waltman
