This may be urethritis, or vulvodynia (vulvar pain syndrome), or even interstitial cystitis. If your GYN cannot diagnose and treat, consider a urogynecologist or a urologist familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of these syndromes. These conditions are treatable but a different approach is necessary.
