Re: OVARIANPAIN: Can an elevated CA-125 be related to Lupus?

Thank you for your prompt reply. The nausea has increased to such a degree that I have been unable to eat anything since Wed. mid day, 2 and half days now. Although I have obviously noted a loss of weight on the scale (12lbs) my trousers are still tight to button. I have also had what would be considered a low grade fever consistently for months. It is now Saturday, if I still have been unable to eat by Monday I will call the gyn-onc and rheumatologist, but part of the problem I am running into is that the gyn-onc doesn't seem to want to see me or hear from me until things get worse (the CA-125 goes up higher) and the rheumatologist doesn't seem to think it's lupus. My calls to them both Thurs. went unreturned. Although the endovaginal ultrasound was extremely painful, it did not apparently show anything. What infections could cause an elevating CA-125, constant pelvic pain, low fever and now nausea (with apparent bloating)?

I understand you can not diagnose, I am just hoping to find the right provider and get help.

Thank you again.
